? How did you get started, your first camera
— I started photography 4 years ago with my mobile phone, capturing minimal photos.
? Who are your favorite photographers?
— Jerry Uelsmann, Joel Tjintjelaar And my friend Sherry Akrami.
? What books on photography, which should be read
— If I wanted to make a list , the list will go on an on. I always encourage everyone to read as much books as they can not only books about photography but Art,Literature and Philosophy in general.
? Tell me one or a few tips for beginners.
— Start taking minimal photos, watch as many minimal photos as you can find on the internet, look for forms, shadows in uncommon places. Go for a photowalk alone with your music on, then just look for the best composition around you all the time. Look at your environment as a photographic frame, once you learn to look at your surroundings in this way you’re halfway through the learning process. Now start to read books and movies you like to improve your imagination and finding inspiration.
? What is most important for you in your work?
— The composition and concepts that comes straight from my soul
? What the most memorable episode or event?
— I think when I won the first place in IPOTY International photographer of the year in Photomanipulation category.
? Do you have a treasured mascot?
— I believe that the force is with me.
? What do you like to photograph the most?
— Anything but what I like to do the most is photomanipulation.
? Your plans for the future?
— To be a professional photographer and spend most of my time improving my photography
? What cameras and lenses do you use today?
— Canon 600d with 18-55 lens.
? Tell the story of the creation of the winning photo in the contest 35Awards
— I really love that work «All I did was stand and stare» because it has a secret meaning and also has brought me so many awards and attentions. It’s a Self portrait that shows me in middle of an abstract composition where can’t do anything but to stare and see what happens next, by the way this photo is part of an ongoing series.
? What are your impressions about the photo contest 35Awards? Why photographers need to participate in photo contests?
— 35awards is one of the best photography awards because it’s free and many photographers from around the world can participate in it. and your work can be exposed to many viewers.
